Summer Catch-up

So, Matt had his birthday:

And, he is pretty proud he can blowout his candles:
So are the kids judging by the clapping, evidently.

We went to a badass nats game.  It was the second game of a double header.  The first game they lost.  Bad.  But our game, they won with a home run.  Bottom of the 9th!  It was an awesome game:

Then, the otolaryngologist had to go and take the wind right out of Matt's summer sails:

He may be a bit mad I put that pic on the interwebs....but don't worry, he has made a speedy, and almost full (I pray!) recovery:

In the meantime, Matt has become my primary Vincent bad-boy Bronzi babysitter, while the kids and I have been hanging at the pool like its our job.  We know how to roll, what can I say?  Summertime with all the vacay, poolside, and sleepovers is. the. life.

Done with surgery!

And Matt's hearing has been reconstructed.  We are anxiously waiting to see how good it is.  It could not have gone more smoothly and recovery is much better this second go round.  We have much to be thankful for!!!  Not the least of which is an awesome aunt Rosie who built this:

Guess Who

Gets to stay up late and hang with mom and dad when he's sick?

If you guessed Mr. Trouble himself, Vinny, then you are right.

It's the Final Countdown

10.9.8.7......you get the idea.  Two weeks until the wedding bells are ringing.  Phoebe put together a wonderful bachelorette for Rosemary at Lost Creek Winery.  The weather could not have been better and it was a wonderful day celebrating the end of an era/beginning a new chapter.  Rosie's friend took some fantastic pictures of us, sisters, out among the grape vines.  I can only hope I can manage to look as good at the wedding.....  I'm sure that will be a piece of cake for the other beautiful sistas.

For the record, it is REALLY HARD having to support the upper half of someone's body, versus the hips or legs.  I am not just a major wimp ;).

Congrats to Rose and Mitch, and it's safe to say we all are excited for your wedding day to arrive!

Lastly, happy father's day to all the wonderful dads who are a part of my life - most of all my own, WTW, Jr and Matt!
