The baby barely cooperated for this profile picture. Evidently its head is lodged way down in my pelvis making looking at its face difficult for the tech. I like to think it is just trying to make labor and delivery easier for me ;)

My Fave Holiday

Wow. I don't know how to turn my pix around. Sorry, this is the extent of my blogging capabilities. It's too bad too, because Matt took a couple of great pix and seeing them sideways just doesn't have the same effect... Anyhow, we had a great fourth spent at the Baker Park downtown with some dear friends. I love the fourth. I think it's all the playing outside all day and late into the night. The kids kept saying, as the fireworks were going off overhead in the rain, "this is magical." And it is. I hope the memories they have of the fourth of July are as long-lasting and fond as the ones I have of my childhood!

So, just so everybody knows. Next year, Baker Park is where it's at. I'm just saying. It's hard to get more American than free country concert, awesome downtown park, and a creek to catch crawdads in.
