Feliz Navidad!

Family Christmas Picture 2010: We gave it a good shot, but it just wasn't meant to be! As much as i tried to replicate 2009's picture - seen below

It just. wasn't. happening-

First we have Matt looking....questionable

Then we have me looking questionable....

And then we just, unquestionably, have the cutest kids....

Yes, that goes for these two, too.

And last, but not least, we have picked a keeper of a picture; not a winner, but definitely a keeper!
Merry Christmas Everyone! We wish you a blessed Christmas and a very happy new year!

Let's Play Catch-up!

The order of all of the pictures and video are backwards, but oh well! Now that Frankie has abandoned Peter for school 5 out of 7 days, this is how I often find Pete in the afternoons - in front of the T.V., passed out, after he's become bored stiff at home.

Like I said, he puts himself down for naps quite often. I don't think he's fallen off.....yet.

The Queen Bee came to town for Halloween and ran into Iron man, a police officer, and a kitty cat. I'm not quite sure what Phoebe was. She'll have to tell you. Nana then showed up and went for a nice walk with the kiddos and me at Baker Park, which is awesome.

Now, this is Frankie this past week at his school's "Winter Time" concert. The video of him ringing sleigh bells is after the pictures of Nes and worth the watch! That kid was so giddy with excitement for an actual "performance". I have no idea where the showman in him comes from, because that is a bug neither Matt, nor I have. He was pretty adorable to watch and makes me look forward to his years to come as a performer in the Avalon Gala!

Once again, these pictures are backwards. Agnes in the pink is the one of her BEFORE she began her propranolol, which has shrunk her hemangioma on her nose and improved is color. Agnes in the blue is the AFTER picture - the new and improved Nes! We did try to wean her off of her medication about a month ago, when Nana was in town. It didn't work. The discoloration started to come back and she's back on the meds now. I'm just glad she likes the taste of the medicine. Makes our lives much easier than if she didn't!

Last, but not least, the video of our CHARACTER, AWARD WINNING, kindergartner. To celebrate his award, which he insisted I take along to a baby shower today and show to everybody, but be sure to bring back home, we had dinner at the best restaurant in town, McDonald's!

I hope you've enjoyed the updates and will try to not lag behind quite so long before my next post!

I hope you have a blessed Advent season and a merry Christmas!

Agnes the Walker

And she's off. Not looking back, either. It only took her, hmmm....14 months, which is fine. with. me.

I'll post a good video of her soon, after I get around to taking it.

We Miss You!

Or to be more specific, I miss you.

Especially now that Matt is about to leave my high and dry for three days and two nights on a beach vacation.

Cutest. Grandkids. Ever.

Part 2

So, the county has declared as state of emergency due to snow drifts 12 feet high....one of which is at the bottom of our drive. The good news is no motorist is stuck in our drift ;o). I feel very sorry for the poor fools who've been stuck out on the road all through the night.

Funny, the other end of our very short street is actually clear.

The kiddos swing set is smothered.

Also funny, my snow boots that I ordered last week from Landsend are in Frederick at the UPS store. We'll see how soon they make it across town for delivery.

Snow-Pocalypse

A picture is worth a thousand words.....

Matt had to dig a trench for the kids to walk up the drive way in, otherwise they'd just cry at the bottom, unable to trudge their way back up after sledding down the lawn.

This is Peter all decked out.

Putting on the snow gear.

Looking out our sliding glass door...impossible.

Exhausted.

This is all Matt has been able to shovel so far. Lord help us, it's a lot of snow.
