Snow-Pocalypse

A picture is worth a thousand words.....

Matt had to dig a trench for the kids to walk up the drive way in, otherwise they'd just cry at the bottom, unable to trudge their way back up after sledding down the lawn.

This is Peter all decked out.

Putting on the snow gear.

Looking out our sliding glass door...impossible.

Exhausted.

This is all Matt has been able to shovel so far. Lord help us, it's a lot of snow.

Dear Margaret & Matt,

This reminds me so much of Spokane, Washington in 1949, when I was Frankie's age, and Pete could be a good stand-in for my brother David. We made a snowman with my father, and we ate snow off of the garbage can lid. They are my earliest memories. Your boys are blessed.

Love to you all,

Dad

PS, I see this will post using Joe's e-mail address. He's still asleep, but he sends you his love, too.
